Executive Bio

Joann Gioia is Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of American Regent’s Multisource and IV Iron Businesses. Ms. Gioia, who joined American Regent in 1996, is responsible for leading American Regent’s Multisource and IV Iron businesses in providing commercial management and driving commercial success for our portfolio and optimizing new business opportunities. 

Joann has 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in general management, commercial operations, and alliance management in both multisource generics, single source generics, and IV Iron. She has held positions of increasing responsibility during her tenure at American Regent and was promoted to Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer in February 2021.
